Round 2 of midterms completed! Neither test went as well as last time, but that's alright, they were both more difficult so it makes sense.

This past weekend I went to the Grant!!! :) Best time ever. It involved lots of snowshoeing, dogsledding (a company from Maine that does tours of dogsledding came down so I got to be a musher and everything!), and skiing. PLUS lots of good eating. Mmmmm homemade pizza. I also became better friends with Julia who I sit with a lot during chem and she is so awesome! So happy that we're a lot closer now. And then the last night I slept outside with no sleeping bag in the snow haha. Some of the guys helped build a lean-to so that if a fire is built and kept going it makes a nice temperature, so Chris, John, Jake, and I spent the last night there. My overall average temperature was nice haha but my head was kindaaaa warm and my feet were kindaaaa cold. Not the best but an amazing experience nonetheless.

Went sledding 2 times this week! Once with Maurice, Deb, Elyse, Lindsay, and Linsey (did I spell that right? not sure) on Tuesday night after Institute and then the next night with Tommy, Paul, Andrew, Jing, and Natalia. So fun! On the second night we were racing so Paul would introduce us like "In lane 1...Tommy Das from India...In lane 2...Amy Bray from America...In lane 3...Andrew Smist from his homeland of Canada...and in lane 4...Paul Finkelstein from Israel!" And it was insured that someone would wipe out each time.

I've also gotten into watching hockey. It's what we do here in NH haha. But for reals, it's really entertaining to watch, plus the US team is doing so well! And then there are playoffs after that for NHL (or so I am told haha). Already forming my fave players and teams (apparently San Jose has a good team?? LA isn't the best and the Ducks are pretty good I'm told.)

Tonight is the DSO concert :) Had rehearsal for the past 3 days (including this morning at 10...fml.) I'm so excited for the concert!!! Phil Back, the piano soloist who is a 10, is such a boss at piano that I just want him to follow me around and play the soundtrack to my life. I wish.
